This guide will offer tips for visiting the winery, so you can sip & swirl with confidence!
-
Don't be Afraid to Ask Questions & Engage with Your Pourer!
-
Wine tasting is all about exploration, so don’t be shy—questions are always welcome. Whether you’re curious about the winemaking process, tasting notes, or food pairings, our team is here to share their knowledge and make your experience as enriching as it is enjoyable!
-
-
Refrain From Drinking on an Empty Stomach.
-
Before arriving, it's always smart to make sure you have had a meal or a snack to start the day. Wine tasting on an empty stomach is the fastest way to over overindulge. And take it from us pros - there's nothing worse than a wine hangover! Drinking responsibly with food in your stomach helps to manage the taste more while negating the fear of over-imbibing!

-
Please Be Patient.
-
The beauty of the South is that we enjoy a quieter, slow-pace lifestyle. The locals love it, and most visitors love to embrace this pace on their vacations. On days when the tasting room is busier, you may feel slightly impatient. Our sales associates work hard to ensure you have an authentic & enjoyable experience. Please be patient, and understand that we're doing all that we can to make sure you are comfortable and happy in our winery. Once you embrace the Southern pace of life, you may never want to leave!

-
Be Mindful of Others.
-
We’re proud to offer a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere here at Georgia Winery. Please be mindful of those around you—whether in the tasting room, on a tour, or enjoying the grounds. Keeping voices at a respectful level and sharing space graciously helps everyone have a great time.
-
-
Follow All Tasting Room & Winery Tour Rules.
-
To help us create a safe and enjoyable environment for all, please follow posted rules during your visit. In the tasting room, no outside food is permitted, children must be supervised at all times, and pets are not allowed indoors (we do have a pet-friendly patio!). On winery tours, please stay with your guide, avoid restricted areas, respect photo policies—especially in the wine manufacturing area—and be considerate of fellow guests. A little courtesy goes a long way!

-
Be Mindful of Closing Time.
-
We love sharing our wines with you, but just like a great Sweet Southern bottle, every visit must come to a close. Please keep an eye on our posted hours and plan to arrive with enough time to enjoy your tasting & visit without feeling rushed. Arriving too close to closing can limit your experience—and cut into our staff’s end-of-day responsibilities. A little planning goes a long way in ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable visit for everyone.

By keeping these simple etiquette tips in mind, you'll help make every visit to Georgia Winery a smooth and enjoyable experience—for you and those around you. We can’t wait to share our Sweet Southern Wine with you—cheers!
